I started Clomid 50 mg CD 3-7. I am on CD 6 and last night had a panic attack. I was convinced I was going to die from a stroke or a heart attack or a blood clot. Today I know it was an anxiety attack and I'm not dying but last night I had to convince myself not to go to the ER. Arghhhhhhh. Is this going to get better or worse!? I know it's a rhetorical question because no one knows but man it's not a fun trip!

Have you spoken with your doctor about it? I took three rounds of clomid and didn't experience that side effect, in fact I didn't really have any side effects.
I don't know what the half-life is for clomid, the pharmacist might, but I'd think until the drug processes completely out of your system that it could happen again.
I did call the nurse. She is going to talk to the doctor and call me back.
Amber, I haven't taken Clomid, but I've experienced anxiety attacks on Femara several times. It's miserable!!! I don't really have any advice but I wanted to let you know it's a real thing and I get how you feel!

I didn't experience this but I've read a ton of stories where women said it made them
feel "crazy" (their words not mine!)... so I would think extreme anxiety could qualify. I hope the nurse was able to help!

I quit taking it so I only got three days in but I can't function like that. It did make me feel like I was either going crazy or going to die. I felt like if I kept taking it I would end up committed.
I hope those awful feelings have subsided and you're back to normal.
Me too! I totally experienced the same on Clomid - especially at 100mg. It was terrible!
